The Kungiang 2 Hydropower Project in Vietnam consists of two cascade power stations:

The main structures of the first-level power station hub are roller concrete on the left and right banks, earth gravity dam of the first-level power station, roller compacted concrete free spillway dam and diversion plant. Two horizontal mixed-flow units are installed in this cascade power station, with a total installed capacity of 3MW.

The main structures of the secondary power station are spillway controlled by 4-hole curved gate with 44m long free spillway, diversion plant, diversion tunnel about 5155.24m long. Three vertical mixed-flow units are installed in this cascade power station, with a total installed capacity of 60MW.
